In short
- Before your first sale, check with the competent authority what your way of selling needs: registration, premises, label, testing, tax.
- The net weight on the label is a promise: fill by weight on a working, approved (stamped) scale.
- Label: name, net weight, best before, batch, producer, country of origin. No healing claims.
- Every batch has a number, a record entry and a retained sample jar.
- Price = honey + jar + labour + selling costs, not "what everyone else charges".
- Honey on a stall in the shade: a jar in the sun overheats within an hour or two.
